Job summary

Catawba Valley Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a registered nurse for the operating room. You will coordinate and provide professional nursing care using the nursing process for diverse patient populations.

Collaborating with a broad care team, you will support department objectives and contribute to performance appraisals and patient outcomes. Two years OR experience is preferred, with BSN as a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current NC RN license or licensure from Nursing Compact State.
• BCLS certification; if not from AHA, an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date.
• BSN and specialty certification in area of practice preferred.
• Two years operating room experience; departmental competencies.
