Job summary

Catawba Valley Medical Group seeks an experienced registered nurse for operating room care, coordinating and delivering professional nursing services using the nursing process. You will collaborate with the health care team to meet patient needs and help drive departmental outcomes.

Required are an accredited nursing program, an active NC RN license (or Nursing Compact state licensure), and BCLS certification; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• A current NC RN license or licensure from a Nursing Compact State.
• BCLS certification; if not from AHA, an AHA certification is required within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals and agencies to meet customer needs.
• Provide input into the performance appraisal process for assigned team members.

• BSN, specialty certification in area of practice.
