Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join the CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team. Work 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday, in North Carolina, supporting MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, transplant and GI patients.

The role involves entering prescriptions accurately, coordinating delivery or pickup, managing inventory, and assisting walk-in customers while performing cash register transactions. Strong customer service and packaging skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in NC.
• 6+ months of pharmacy technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medication has been filled correctly
• Accurately enter prescription information as needed
• Contact patients to arrange delivery or set a pickup date
• Perform refill reminder calls
• Accurately fill medication orders
• Prepare orders for delivery
• Pack/shipping medication orders via various carriers for final delivery to the patient
• Maintain adequate inventory
• Manage inventory functions
• Help walk‑in customers
• Perform cash register transactions
• Lift and ship prescriptions up to 50 lbs

Patient Interaction & Medication Management Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of NC
• +6 months of pharmacy technician experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidate has completed a Pharmacy Technician Training Program and is Certified by a technician training program
• Worked in a lead role as a Pharmacy Technician
• Worked in Retail or Hospital Pharmacy for at least 2 years

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
