Pharmacy Technician

Specialty Pharmacy Office Dublin

As a full-time, nonexempt Specialty Pharmacy Technician with CPS Solutions, LLC Patient Care Services, you will be a vital team member directly influencing quality patient care. In this role, you will work in a casual, low-stress office/call center setting with your own workstation. Say goodbye to standing on your feet all day, working the drive-up window, and ringing up the cash register! Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will assist internal and external customers to ensure financial and clinical requirements are met prior to the safe fulfillment of specialty medications. This involves providing exceptional customer service and sharing your expertise with patients, providers, or payers regarding enrollment, benefits, prior authorizations, appeals, financial assistance, and other account-related inquiries. Our Specialty Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for answering incoming calls and making outbound calls to patients, providers, pharmacists, foundations, payers, and others under pharmacist supervision.

Schedule

This position is scheduled to work full time, 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts and a 30-minute lunch break.

Starting Salary Range

$23.50 - $25.50 hourly, based on related work experience.

About the Facility

The Patient Care Service Center is part of our expanding specialty pharmacy division, located in Dublin, Ohio. It provides specialty pharmacy support to our clients and patients in a high-security, modern office building.

CPS Solutions, LLC manages the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy in partnership with the hospital. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy

The pharmacy utilizes TherigySTM, multiple pharmacy management systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite. It operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician license & PTCB certification
• Recent pharmacy technician experience with payors and/or prior authorizations (preferred)

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
• In-depth understanding of medication names (both verbal and written)
• Professional, polished, and positive communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and multitask effectively
• Experience with pharmacy order entry systems
• Ability to manage projects outside of daily duties
