Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in Leander, TX. You will help prepare and dispense medications, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

You will engage with patients in person and by phone, learning about specialty diseases to provide informed, compassionate service. The role offers a Mon-Fri schedule, base pay $18–$22/hour, and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Texas State Board of Pharmacy license/registration must be active.
• Working knowledge of Pharmacy Technician duties.
• Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with preparing and dispensing medications to ensure accuracy.
• Provide personalized customer service in person and by phone, guiding patients with empathy.
• Learn about specialty diseases (Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV) to better serve patients.
• Enter patient, medication, billing, and sales data accurately into systems.
• Support and help improve the pharmacy and team, growing with Omnicell.

Hours and Location

• This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• We are located at 1361 Hero Way, Suite 102, Leander, TX 78641.

What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Active, non‑expired license/registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Working knowledge of Pharmacy Technician duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT): PTCB or NHA accepted.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear

Base Compensation: $18.00 to $22.00
