Job summary

Billings Clinic is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Specialty Pharmacy, with on-the-job training available. The role is full-time (75% or greater) based in Billings, Montana, offering a starting wage between $17.25 and $24.60 per hour. Eligible candidates may receive a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

You will support pharmacists in distribution, inventory, billing, and customer service. Requirements include Montana Board of Pharmacy registration, training compliance, and continuing education.

Qualifications

• All Pharmacy Technicians, both non-certified and certified must display and provide proof of current registration with the Montana State Board of Pharmacy
• All Pharmacy Technicians, both non-certified and certified, must successfully complete all required training and department/position specific competencies.
• All Pharmacy Technicians, both non-certified and certified, must successfully maintain continuing education per board of pharmacy requirements and produce such documentation upon request.
• All Pharmacy Technicians, both non-certified and certified, must not be on the OIG exclusion list.

Responsibilities

• Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations.
• Answers the telephone and assists customers seeking pharmaceutical care.
• Assists the pharmacist with all aspects of the medication distribution system including compounding/admixing, filling bottles with prescribed tablets/capsules, processing prescriptions and emergent prescriptions, adjudicating claims, POS functions, etc.
