Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Clinical Support Pharmacy Technician to assist with all phases of pharmacy services in the ambulatory setting at the UMC location in Louisville, KY. You will support the Specialty Pharmacy team and the Outpatient Retail Pharmacy as the liaison to ensure seamless dispensing and clinical care.

The role requires pharmacy technician experience, strong customer service, and collaboration with providers and staff to adhere to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience in pharmacy, Specialty Pharmacy preferred
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, required
• Registered as a pharmacy technician with the State Board of Pharmacy Examiners (PTCB preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care and patient support
• Read, interpret and enter medication orders accurately
• Collaborate with medication access coordinators and sales partners as needed
• Maintain accurate medication histories and documentation in the pharmacy IT system
