Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a Medical Office/Healthcare setting.
• Willingness to obtain IL & MO State Pharmacy Technician license within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate clear and timely communication with healthcare providers and patients regarding medication orders and refills.
• Coordinate patient care with providers including scheduling, prior authorizations, and delivery or pickup arrangements.
• Verify insurance coverage, assist with prior authorizations, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for specialty medications.
• Address issues related to treatment, insurance coverage, or medication access.
• Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, orders, and insurance communications.
