Job summary

Centene Management Company LLC in Houston, TX, seeks a Pharmacist (Specialty) to support on-site specialty pharmacy operations, including filling prescriptions, labeling, and inventory management in a fast-paced setting at 1311 W. Sam Houston Pkwy N., Houston, TX 77043. The role requires Texas Pharmacist licensure (or eligible), a PharmD or Bachelor in Pharmacy, and specialty experience.

IG or CSP certification is preferred. Work hours are Mon–Fri, 9:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy and 3+ years of mail order, retail or hospital pharmacy experience OR PharmD.

Responsibilities

• Participate in plan of care and quality improvement.
• Supervise filling, receiving, compounding, and dispensing activities.
• Ensure patient charts include allergies, history, meds; review lab results.
• Provide patient counseling, education, and monitoring.
• Assist in inventory management to avoid waste and manage doses.
• Support Pharmacy Manager in new procedures and staff training.
