Job summary

Centene is seeking a Pharmacist for per diem onsite work in Houston to support specialty pharmacy operations. The role covers dispensing, verification, inventory, and patient education in a fast-paced environment.

A degree in pharmacy and relevant licenses are required, with preference for infusion pump experience and CSP/IG certification. Hours are part-time, PRN, with shifts typically 8 hours or less and 8–32 hours per week.

• Curlin infusion pumps experience
• IG or CSP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pharmaceutical needs and plan for the provision of pharmaceutical services.
• Oversee dispensing, receiving, compounding and dispensing activities.
• Maintain complete patient charts with allergies, history and concurrent medications.
• Counsel and monitor patients on drug therapy and safety.
• Assist in training and supervising pharmacy staff and interns.
