CenterWell Pharmacy in Orlando is seeking a Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 to support Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation and dispensing. You will handle varied tasks and semi-routine assignments within a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes inventory coordination with the supply team, adherence to defined policies, and the opportunity to apply computations; on-site at 11010 Florida Crown Dr Ste 200, Orlando, FL 32824.

Qualifications

• Active and current Florida State Registered Pharmacy Technician license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for 10 hours.
• Trains and uses mobile equipment, lifts employees on mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Dispense Specialty Rx medications and support Pharmacists.
• Maintain inventory levels with the supply team.
• Handle semi-routine administrative/operational/customer support tasks.
• Perform computations related to prescriptions.
• Work on semi-routine assignments and prioritize tasks within defined policies.

The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications. The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Perform computations. Typically work on semi-routine assignments.

The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 ensures inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by working with inventory supply team. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing. Follow standard practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation.

Required Qualifications

• Active and current Florida State Registered Pharmacy Technician license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Desired Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification, ExCPT or PTCB
• Specialty pharmacy experience
• Retail pharmacy experience

Hours

Current hours of operation: Monday through Thursday 6:30am to 6:00pm and Friday 7am to 4pm

Schedule will be : Mon-Thursday 9:30-6pm and Fridays 7-3:30

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$40,000 - $52,300 per year
