CenterWell Pharmacy is seeking a Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 to support Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation and dispensing. The role includes handling varied administrative and patient-facing tasks, entering prescription orders, and communicating with physicians for clarifications to optimize health outcomes.

Training begins day one with a 40-hour workweek, then Monday–Friday schedule EST with remote work options.

Qualifikationen

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in your resident state.
• PTCB or NHA certification required.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or inbound/outbound call experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and use multiple computer apps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong data entry and call center experience preferred.

The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications. The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 may contact physicians for prescriptions clarification and may enter prescription orders into the system. Also supports pharmacists and patients by ensuring adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational processes and programs developed to optimize health outcomes which include effective communication with patients and providers. Decisions typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

Requirements

• Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state you reside
• Must be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Inbound and/or outbound phone experience
• Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities, including use of multiple computer applications simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including: Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong data entry
• Call center experience

Training:

• Virtual training starts on day one of employment and will run for the first few weeks with a schedule of either 8 :00 AM to 4:30 PM OR 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern , Monday - Friday.

Work Schedule Following Training:

• Monday – Friday 9:00AM – 5:30PM EST.

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
