Fortegra is seeking a Specialty Operations Analyst to support the Specialty team and MGA onboarding. You will partner with Underwriters, lead subject-matter expertise for Hubspot and Monday.com, and help ensure data quality across onboarding and program maintenance.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of insurance experience, with project management exposure. You will collaborate across departments, prepare plans and reports, and travel as needed.
The Specialty Operations Analyst responsibilities will include:
1) Assist with process, procedures and documentation efforts for the Specialty team.
2) Act as a business partner to Specialty Underwriters to assist with operational aspects of their program(s). Over time with experience, this will include some exposure and responsibilities for onboarding of new MGU/MGA program partners.
3) Become a lead subject matter expert for Hubspot, Monday.com and other related tools
4) Ensuring data quality is paramount for onboarding and program maintenance of our MGA partners.
5) Various ad-hoc special projects
The primary purpose of this role will be to assist the Operations teams with managing the operational processes surrounding due diligence and onboarding for new MGA opportunities.
This role requires a basic understanding of the MGA program landscape and the insurance industry.
Work is performed in a fast-paced environment within tight time constraints. The individual must be entrepreneurially focused, have a “roll-up your sleeves” mentality and be curious about the business.
