Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Central Specialty & Mail Order Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment, packaging, and inventory under pharmacist supervision in a fast-paced mail-order facility with automation.

The role requires teamwork, accurate handling of prescriptions, and collaboration with the central call center. Prior retail/mail order experience is preferred and Kentucky registration is required or anticipated.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy required before or on hire date (if not currently registered).
• Prior retail, mail order, and/or central pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill prescriptions for centralized specialty and home delivery under pharmacist supervision.
• Perform nonsterile compounding per guidelines and state law.
• Maintain cold chain and room temperature packaging requirements.
• Assist inventory management and physical inventory preparation.
• Support pharmacy automation systems and keep the department organized.
• Collaborate with the onsite call center to coordinate services and resolve issues.
• Escalate unresolved problems to a pharmacist or manager and assist training.
