Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process under the supervision of a state-licensed prescriber or RN. You will coordinate patient care with other departments to support safe, effective treatment.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited LPN program and current LPN licensure in the hiring state; Basic Life Support certification is required or obtained within 30 days; push/pull and lifting up to 50 pounds are physical demands.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent education with successful licensure.
• Must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more certifications may be required based on position/unit (ACLS/ALS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, etc.).
• Physical demands include standing/walking most of the shift and lifting up to 50 pounds.
