Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program; comparable education and licensure considered.
• Must obtain and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state where duties are performed.
• Preferred certifications may include ACLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, BLS, LPN-IV (Missouri) and unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision and in collaboration with licensed staff.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and maintains professional accountability.
