Veolia in North America seeks an Operations Technician I to process specialty feed streams and manage drums, totes, and equipment for incineration. The role emphasizes safety and accurate documentation of all steps in the feed process.

The candidate will assist maintenance, operate forklifts, and support the incineration unit with ash/deslagging while maintaining high housekeeping standards and strict safety protocols.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Over 2 years of experience in hazardous waste or chemical industry preferred.
• Experience with forklifts and heavy equipment preferred.
• No unsatisfactory attendance or disciplinary issues in the past 12 months.

Mansioni

• Process specialty feed streams and load drums/totes for incineration.
• Complete daily rounds and inspections of specialty feed equipment.
• Document feed processes via electronic log, scanners, and labeling.
• Assist maintenance and contractors with preventive maintenance and permits.
• Support incinerator operations with ash/deslagging and feed-line tasks.
• Operate forklifts and other rolling stock; ensure housekeeping and safety.
