Job Title: Endo/Specialty Dental Assistant

Position Summary

As a Traveling Specialty Dental Assistant, you will support the clinical needs of our patients and doctors across multiple locations. Your duties include patient care, recordkeeping, and scheduling. Working under dentist supervision, you will collaborate with dental hygienists in their daily activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with sedation Endo procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments and assist dentists chairside.
  • Maintain inventory control in operatories.
  • Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
  • Provide excellent patient interactions regarding scheduling, follow-up, and record keeping.
  • Perform basic lab procedures such as taking impressions and preparing cases for external labs.
  • Maintain the appearance of public areas.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and systems; a desire to learn.
  • Applicable licensing for the state (e.g., DRT license in NJ).
  • 1+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and patient care.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
