A successful dental assistant will practice active listening, keep commitments, keep others informed of work progress, and address problems constructively to find practical solutions.

  12. Record patient charting and clinician’s notes accurately in the digital chart.
  13. Support patient care by presenting treatment records, consents, and health history.
  14. Ensure equipment maintenance according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
  15. Work with the Lead Dental Assistant to manage supplies.
  16. Learn and operate technology, providing explanations/demonstrations as needed.
  17. Participate in team meetings and daily huddles.
  18. Model company culture, values, and standards.
  19. Support the PDS Brand and implement the Perfect Patient Experience.
  20. Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
  21. Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and laws.
  22. Perform other duties as assigned.
