Job summary

Bothell Modern Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and ensure a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and Patient for Life (PFL). You will prepare patients for exams, assist with treatments, and maintain sterile operatories.

You may travel to multiple offices for specialty coverage and must uphold high standards of care and teamwork. The role involves radiographs, charting, and collaborative work with Lead Dental Assistant and front office staff to ensure smooth daily

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with mandated state training.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must have valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Travel to multiple offices daily is required for specialty roles.
• Reliable transportation is required if no license/insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions per state Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Assist PPE by keeping patients focused on treatment and addressing needs.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Coordinate with front and back office to ensure orthodontist schedule runs smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and sterilize instruments.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist for efficient care.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed by clinician.
• Prepare tray setups and manage supply levels in each operatory.
• Keep patients' mouths dry using suction and other devices.
• Instruct patients on post-treatment care as directed.
