Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is seeking a Specialty Clinical Pharmacist for the Case Management team. This full-time role supports safe, effective pharmaceutical care within assigned patient areas and requires active involvement in education and training of staff.

The position offers a rotating day shift with 40 hours per week and a comprehensive benefits package. Virginia Pharmacist license and BLS are required; ACLS is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Doctorate in Pharmacy is preferred.
• Virginia Pharmacist License is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
• Previous clinical experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of specialty medications is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, effective, and prompt pharmacy services.
• Manage patient drug therapy per clinical practice standards.
• Assure appropriateness of provider medication orders for high-quality care.
• Precept pharmacy students as assigned.
• Participate in training of new employees.
• Escalate questions outside scope of practice as needed.
