General Summary & Scope

The Specialty Beauty Advisor - Lancôme (SBA - Lancôme) is responsible for maximizing sales of Lancôme products—including color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance—by engaging guests, assisting in product selection, and maintaining store standards such as cleanliness and replenishment. They represent the Ulta Beauty and Lancôme brands, support the Experience Manager, and focus on performance, people, and process. A passion for beauty, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge are essential.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

The SBA - Lancôme demonstrates Ulta Beauty’s mission, vision, and values through:

• Performance: Achieving sales and loyalty goals, providing exceptional service, performing makeup applications, staying current on training, supporting in-store events, building customer relationships, and staying informed on industry trends.
• People: Contributing to an inclusive environment, promoting loyalty programs, maintaining relationships with brand partners, collaborating with team members, and participating in ongoing training.
• Process: Adhering to policies, maintaining store standards, participating in resets and inventory, protecting assets, and executing operational tasks.

Job Qualifications

Education: High school diploma preferred; cosmetology or demonstrator license required where mandated by law.

Experience: Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.

Skills: Strong sales, product knowledge, customer relationship building, teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills.

Additional Requirements

• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Participation in brand-sponsored training.

Working Conditions

• Frequent mobility, standing, bending, reaching, and twisting.
• Lifting/moving up to 10 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits
