General Summary & Scope

The Specialty Beauty Advisor - Chanel (SBA - Chanel) is responsible for maximizing sales in the Chanel brand (including color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance) by engaging guests, assisting in product selection, and maintaining store standards. The SBA - Chanel represents the Ulta Beauty and Chanel image and supports the Experience Manager through performance, people, and process focus. This role requires a passion for beauty, exceptional guest service, and strong product knowledge.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Performance

• Meet or exceed Chanel sales and clientele goals, contributing to store targets.
• Build the business by achieving sales targets, fostering guest loyalty, and recruiting new guests.
• Provide exceptional service, including greeting, engaging, and personalizing experiences for guests.
• Share knowledge of the Chanel brand, heritage, and products.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations.
• Support in-store events and exclusive Chanel services.
• Participate in promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Use client systems for follow-up and loyalty building.
• Stay informed on industry trends and product benefits.
• Maintain regular attendance.

People

• Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates and guests.
• Build and maintain strong guest relationships.
• Promote the guest loyalty program.
• Maintain relationships with Chanel brand partners through training and events.
• Resolve guest concerns effectively.

Job Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology or demonstrator license as required by law.

Experience

• Cosmetic artistry experience preferred.
