Job summary

Fisher Auto Parts in Mechanicsburg, PA is hiring a Warehouse - picker for a full-time role. You will operate an RF scanner to pick specials/will call orders across multiple zones, keep aisles clean, and prepare orders with high attention to detail.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, and willingness to wear PPE as directed. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensures all Specials/Will Calls are picked in both an accurate and timely manner.

Essential Functions:

• Operates an RF scanner to pick specials/will call orders, usually across multiple zones
• Maintains clean aisle ways clearing their workspace of debris
• Efficiently prepares orders with high attention to detail
• Responsible for maintaining familiarity and knowledge of company product line locations, and priorities regarding outgoing orders

Knowledge, Skills, Duties and Abilities:

• Ability to use carts and or stock chasers to pick orders as needed; complete appropriate pre-trip/post-trip inspection and maintenance paperwork
• Able to perform tasks accurately

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug test
• Wear appropriate footwear protection and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Company policy
• Acknowledgement of and adherence to all Company policies and procedures as contained within the Fisher Auto Parts Employee and Driver’s Handbooks

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, squat, and stoop
• Also required to climb, push/pull, balance, crouch or crawl, talk, speak, and hear
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• May be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and/or vehicles, high/precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, various degrees of cold and heat, risk of electrical shock, items of bulky or varying weight, risk of explosion, and/or vibration.
