Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Full-time Specialized Equipment Operator for the Conklin, NY distribution center. The role involves unloading, loading, staging, palletizing and warehousing of cartons, with daily cycle counts and routine quality checks.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, less than one year of experience, and experience with WMS/WM and RF scanners. Expectation of physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year experience.
• Experience in WMS / WM and RF scanner skills.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull & lift cartons/bins weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Basic English reading comprehension & numerical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs unloading, loading, staging, palletizing and warehousing of cartons in warehouse racking.
• Sort UPCs for backstock.
• Use scan & apply function to process cases and perform spot checks.
• Work in other departments when workflow demands.
• Secure product to skid and shrink wrap as necessary.
• Report errors and complete paperwork accurately for orders in trouble.
