About the Position

We are looking for a high-energy individual to join our rapidly growing organization. The Specialized Transportation Manager has an opportunity to build a successful career in the trillion-dollar supply chain and logistics industry, with no previous experience required. Our world-class, paid training program gives you a solid foundation, and after that, the sky is the limit for your growth.

We invest deeply in our new hires by providing up to 2 weeks of paid training to prepare them for their important role as a member of our team. The role will serve as a member of our brokerage team and will help support the growth of our specialized transportation base. The role will work closely with various members of our organization.

Principle Accountabilities

1. Work directly with our valued carriers to deepen relationships and strengthen ITS' position as a best-in-class specialized transportation provider.
2. Work as needed with our customers to build unique and out-of-the-box solutions to complex specialized transportation needs.
3. Proactively solicit new and existing accounts for new opportunities, documenting, communicating, and executing all business requirements.
4. Become the specialized transportation expert, training and enabling brokerage teams to become more knowledgeable in the field.
5. Proactively onboard and develop new customers, including creating, updating, and maintaining SOPs.
6. Work closely with the Outside Sales team to help develop and leverage the sales strategy to land new opportunities for both new and existing customers.
7. Ensure customer interactions and feedback are entered into the CRM.
8. Price all opportunities (ad-hoc, bid board, dedicated, etc.).
9. Maintain the client pipeline and meet internal CRM KPIs.
10. Negotiate customer rates and create RFPs.
11. Ensure data integrity and provide excellent customer service, including shipment status updates, communication, and portal updates.
12. Additional duties as assigned.
