Job summary

Upstage Crew Services in Denver, CO is hiring part-time Specialized Technicians to support events. Roles include Fork/Scissor Lift Operator (certified), LED Wall Engineer, Cable Page, Audio and Lighting/Video specialists.

Candidates must lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in various weather, and be able to follow directions with minimal supervision. Training provided; shifts include days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Able to work with limited supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving, good judgment.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must understand/communicate in English.
  • Overnight shifts may be required.
  • Outdoor work in varied weather conditions.
  • Able to respond on short notice and arrive on time.
  • Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, AV equipment is desirable.

Job Description: Specialized Technician

Upstage Crew Services is actively hiring part-time Specialized Technicians to work in the Denver, Colorado market.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent understanding of, and adherence to, safety requirements.
  • Willingness to work diligently with direction and limited supervision.
  • Good problem-solving skills, common sense and good judgment.
  • Use well-developed fine and gross motor skills and exhibit manual dexterity.
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull or otherwise move and position a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to hear and communicate verbally as well as read and speak English.
  • May be asked to work unconventional, varied schedules including overnight shifts.
  • Assignments may be out-of-doors, sometimes in remote locations, and subject to prevalent weather conditions.
  • Must be able to be contacted and respond on short notice; is required to arrive at work sites on time and ready to work.
  • Capabilities with equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, standard and power tools, and audio/video equipment is highly desirable.
