Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work following standard processes and policies
• Serves as an expert with equipment and technology in the specialized area
• Solves technical issues in the specialized area as they arise
• Keeps documents and records accurate and timely
• Supports communication with patients and care team
• Identifies quality improvement opportunities to ensure safe, effective care
• Participates in site or system specialized work teams and committees
• Complies with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards
• Maintains current knowledge and collaborates with leadership to adopt best practices
• Educates others and contributes to education within the department
• Accepts tasks from other pharmacy teammate roles when workload dictates
