Job summary

Airgas in Tulsa, OK is hiring a Specialized Billing Administrator to manage customer billing outside regular retail operations. You will handle cylinder lease programs, progressive pay invoicing, and support special accounts, collaborating across branches and leadership to improve accuracy and timeliness.

You will renew specialized orders, verify billing, respond to inquiries, analyze data for trends, and perform daily audits to ensure data integrity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Customer service experience preferred in an office setting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, especially Excel pivot tables, macros and data links.
• Able to research and analyze data to identify trends and anomalies.
• Able to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
• Occasional travel may be required.

The Specialized Billing Administrator is responsible for the customer billing that falls outside the scope of normal retail operations. This area of business includes, but is not limited to the management of the Cylinder Lease Program, Progressive Pay Invoicing, and may be asked to assist with Digitally Integrated/Special Handled accounts. Working closely and collaboratively with the Specialized Billing Supervisor as well as the end user Customer, Branch personnel and Leadership this position achieves a high level of customer service, accuracy in billing, timeliness in maintenance, and process improvements.

In particular, you will:

• Drive continued improvement in safety, quality and efficiency initiatives.

• Process renewals, specialized orders and verify billing.

• Respond to various forms of communication pertaining to requests for updates, working through an issue, resolving a dispute, or making recommendations.

• Analyze data, the customer requirements and requests and takes appropriate measures to update the operating system.

• Perform daily audits to ensure customer satisfaction and data integrity

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required.

• Customer service experience, preferably in an office setting (in lieu of college coursework).

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, specifically in Excel/Google Sheets to include pivot tables, macros, and data links.

• Capable of researching and analyzing data with the ability to identify reasons for trends and anomalies.

• Able to work extended hours as needed to meet required deadlines.

• Limited, periodic travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college-level coursework in accounting or business is desired.

• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.

• Familiar with continuous improvement principles and tools.
