Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs to lead interface control, MBSE model development, and DoD artifact governance within a SAFe framework. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure traceable, auditable system architecture and requirement compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining ICDs, supporting ERB/CCB/DRB, and coordinating with government customers and subcontractors on the NSTTC-O RCS program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics required or equivalent experience.
• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
• Graduate Degree preferred or 2+ years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of related experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Own, author, and maintain the ICD with traceable requirements and MBSE model.
• Develop and mature the MBSE model as the authoritative system representation.
• Prepare technical packages and represent SE at ERB, CCB, and DRB; include change impact analysis.
• Support FCA and PCA activities ensuring alignment with baselines.
• Participate in SAFe Agile Release Train activities including PI Planning and backlog refinement.
• Author and maintain requirements following INCOSE guidance and traceability standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve interface and design issues.
• Support DoD SE artifacts (SEP, SEMP, TEMP, CMP, DMP) as required by program.
• Coordinate with government customers and subcontractors in a government range environment.
• Assist system installation and integration, coordinating procurement and logistics.
