Workday Systems Administrator Specialist (778239) Location: Remote

Job Description: The North Carolina Office of State Human Resources (NCOSHR) is seeking an experienced Workday Systems Administrator to support the HCM Digital Transformation Project . The selected professional will collaborate with OSHR Leadership, the HCM PMO, and agency HR leaders to expand, enhance, and sustain the State s Workday HCM capabilities.

This role requires strong expertise in Workday configuration, integration, and business process design , along with experience in onboarding/offboarding and post go-live support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategize and plan the expansion of Workday Onboarding/Offboarding for participating state agencies.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancement.
  • Document findings, assess strategies, and develop execution roadmaps.
  • Design, configure, test, and implement new Workday business processes.
  • Partner with technical leads to test and deploy integrations, including EIB integrations.
  • Support security administration, including group creation and access management.
  • Work with SMEs to develop, test, and validate new or modified business process designs.
  • Assist with post go-live support and sustainment of implemented solutions.
