Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Specialist/Sr Specialist, Learning Administration to join the Learning Administration team at the DFW HQ in Fort Worth. You will act as the SaaS product administrator for learning applications, ensuring systems are maintained to enterprise standards and supporting cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience/training.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of learning ecosystems including LMS SAP SuccessFactors, LXP, and LRS.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SaaS product administrator for learning applications, ensuring systems are maintained to enterprise standards.
• Maintain process documentation and workflows using tools.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with system access, permissions, and configuration (Tier 2).
• Collaborate with Technology teams to resolve issues related to learning applications.
• Provide training and technical support to other training organizations across the enterprise.

• Responsible for maintaining and ensuring effective administration of enterprise learning applications and other learning technologies managed by the Learning Administration team.
• This job is a member of the Learning Administration team within the People (Human Resources) group.

What you'll do

• Serve as SaaS product administrator for learning applications, ensuring the systems are mainted and adminstered to enterprise standards
• Maintain process documentation and workflows using tools
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with system access, permissions, and configuration (Tier 2 application support)
• Work in partnership with Technology teams (both internal and external) to resolve any issues reported that relate to learning applications
• Provide training and technical support to other training organizations across the enterprise for learning applications
• Work with learning application vendors on release schedule to ensure American follows new features
• Acts as business consultant by proactively providing insight to key decision makers on trends observed from data, make data backed
• recommendations for continuous improvement in support of strategic objectives and goal to deliver value to the company
• Works collaboratively with internal customers and stakeholders in defining learning strategy to achieve high end user satisfaction
• Act as a back-up to Learning Administration team to ensure daily support of learning applications

• Use HTML skills to deliver consistent message across applications and notifications to enhance the user experience
• Define and maintain post-learning strategies for surveys and work with data analyst to make data available to subject matter experts

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience/training
• 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

• Knowledge of learning ecosystems that include multiple platforms, including learning management (LMS) SAP SuccessFactors, learning experience platforms (LXP), and learning record stores (LRS)
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
