The Children’s Cabinet, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Signs of Suicide Program Specialist to support education, screening, and referrals in Washoe County schools. The role is part-time (25–29 hours/week), non-exempt, with shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, generally August through June.
You will collaborate with the SOS Program Manager and school districts, perform data entry, coordinate counseling referrals, and travel as needed within the county. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Definition:
The SOS Signs of Suicide Program Specialist is responsible for assisting with the SOS program through the Children's Cabinet. The Specialist will work with the SOS Program Manager, case managers, other agencies and school districts in regards to the implementation of the SOS program in order to educate youth and screen youth for mental health issues as well as other health related issues and to be able to refer for follow up services as deemed necessary. The position will report to a Program Manager. Bilingual English/Spanish Required.
Must be available to work varying hours Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The hours vary based on programming and school schedules. Generally works August through June.
