Salary range: A reasonable estimate for this position is $53,100-$188,200. See Table Specialist Series - Represented Fiscal Year for the salary range for this position.

Position description

Specialists are occasionally available throughout the year in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology. Specialists are engaged in specialized research, professional activity, and University and/or public service. They are expected to use their expertise to contribute to the research enterprise of the University and to gain recognition in the professional and scientific community. Participation in university and public service depends on funding and position duties.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at application time):

  • Junior Specialists: Bachelor's degree or equivalent research experience.
  • Assistant Specialists: Master's degree or five years of relevant experience.
  • Associate Specialists: Master's degree or five to ten years of relevant experience, with a record of academic accomplishments and public service.
  • Full Specialists: Doctoral degree or ten+ years of relevant experience, with significant academic and professional recognition.
