Job summary

Global Industrial is seeking a Sales Support professional to join our team in Henderson, NV. You will support sales representatives, enter quotes and orders, and communicate status to customers to keep deals moving.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in sales support, is self-motivated, and proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. You will need excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in sales support preferred.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Outstanding interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and work under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Attend Sales Excellence Team meetings to understand the unique needs and initiatives of the sales unit.
• Provide customer support by covering reps when they're out of the office (as needed).
• Enter/Process quotes, orders POs, and communicating status.
• Handle any customer service issues and follow up if over 24 hours.
• Resolve deal desk and shipping requests.
• Escalate issues from customers to the appropriate internal department.
• Answer requests from sellers that come to them via their queue.
• Assist with bids (RFP/RFQ).
• Provide support to customers to resolve sales-related issues in a timely manner.
• Expedite and follows through on rush requests from customers.
• Answer inbound emails and inquiries from customers.
• Work in a team environment to support the customer experience.

Competencies and skills

• 2- 4 years in previous sales support preferred

• Outstanding interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and work under time constraints is required.
