Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Safety Specialist to guide and support the Stop & Shop Distribution Center’s safety initiatives. You will work with site leadership to implement programs, assess risk, and drive continuous safety improvements across a 1,000,000 sq ft facility with around 100 employees.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1-5 years in safety management, plus strong coaching and communication skills to educate managers and teams on safety standards and OSHA requirements.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direction, support and resources to support the Stop & Shop Distribution Center. Working directly with site leadership, the Safety Specialist will help manage the inherent risks of a 1,000,000 sq foot, 100 employee perishable and dry grocery distribution center. We seek a motivated safety professional that can identify and evaluate risk exposures and develop and strengthen existing programs and processes to reduce risk and improve safety performance. This position will work closely with supply chain leadership in setting safety performance targets, educating management and associates, measuring progress and establishing/executing plans for continuous improvement.
MA Salary Range: $72,880 - $109,320
