Position Summary

Under the direction of Donor Services Leadership, supports the department by performing operational duties including opening, evaluating, and organizing returned totes and containers, as well as picking, gathering, and restocking supplies. Responsible for product replenishment, stocking, distribution, and overall inventory management.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor mobile blood drive schedules and supply levels.
  • Gather, stage, and load supplies for blood drives into vehicles.
  • Restock blood drive supply totes and blood buses accurately and timely.
  • Stage supplies in designated areas.
  • Maintain inventory levels and request additional supplies as needed.
  • Keep stock room organized and labeled.
  • Rotate products based on FIFO principles.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Follow all safety and handling guidelines and participate in continuous improvement.
  • Support the Donor Services Team and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Preferred experience in stocking or inventory management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to interpret SOPs and safety rules.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic writing skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, printers, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and handle confidential information.
  • Attention to detail and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to travel between state sites as required.
  • Organizational skills for effective workflow.
