KEH Camera is seeking a Specialist Repair Technician in Smyrna, GA to perform mid-to-advanced repairs on camera gear and accessories. You will diagnose issues, source parts, and manage gear transport between sites while documenting work clearly in our systems.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in repair, soldering, troubleshooting, or related fields.
• Mechanical or electronic aptitude.
• Previous experience with an OEM.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• The ability to self-manage and switch between tasks effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions.
• Patience, tact, and confidence when dealing with complex issues.
• Photographic/product knowledge experience (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Perform mid-to-advanced level repairs on digital and analog camera equipment, lenses, and accessories.
• Diagnose a wide range of issues using technical knowledge and testing tools.
• Request purchase orders from appropriate vendors for repairs.
• Manage workload and transport photo gear from contractor location to the warehouse.
• Communicate with the administration team on service updates, technician notes.
• Documenting repair work, parts usage, and technical observations in our system.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. Ability to build merchant category budget.
