Royal Caribbean Group’s Purchasing Global Capital Team has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Specialist Project Logistics, reporting to the Manager, LGA Logistics. This position is based on-site in Weston, Florida.

Position Summary

This role primarily supports internal teams in implementing their strategies and achieving results. The Specialist Project Logistics manages transportation of equipment and supplies used in Newbuild, Dry-Dock, Revitalization, and Projects. It involves coordinating with third-party logistics providers (customs brokers, port agents, forwarders, consolidators) and collaborating with internal departments (Purchasing, Logistics, Newbuild, Marine & HFAB Operations, Fleet Modernization, etc.), shipboard operations, port departments, and external suppliers to determine the disposition of tools, equipment, and materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Direct third-party port agents, forwarders, and consolidators regarding the disposition of tools, equipment, and materials used in various projects.

  2. Represent RCCL in meetings with US Customs, responding to audits, inquiries, and presenting company policies and procedures.

  3. Track and monitor tools, equipment, and materials to ensure timely disposition for project transfer.

  4. Conduct training for project teams, warehouse personnel, and port agents.

  5. Plan and coordinate transportation of contractor tools, equipment, and supplies domestically and internationally.

  6. Handle urgent shipments via airfreight for project needs.

  7. Provide training on disposition procedures in the Land Good Advice system.

  8. Train internal and external customers on current regulatory compliance for Landed Good Advice.

  9. Work with RCCL Compliance, Ethics, and Customs to ensure awareness of current compliance requirements and update policies accordingly.

  10. Travel domestically and internationally for vessel port audits and quality assurance.

  11. Perform related duties as required, with or without accommodation.

  12. Participate in meetings related to ongoing projects as needed.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in transportation and logistics, with knowledge of US Customs regulations.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.

  • Experience with third-party providers and the Landed Good Advice (LGA) system preferred.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.

  • Hazardous materials shipping certification is a plus.

  • Proficiency in PC software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

  • Familiarity with JD Edwards and AMOS systems preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills, including calculating figures and understanding basic algebra and geometry.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to interpret technical documents and respond to inquiries effectively.

  • Independent decision-making capabilities with minimal supervision.
