Monmouth UniversitySpecialist Professor, Physician Assistant ProgramDepartment: Physician Assistant ProgramPosition Summary:Monmouth University is seeking dynamic educators to join our team of dedicated faculty as Specialist Professor in the Master of Science degree Physician Assistant Program. We are hiring for a 12-month, non-tenure track opening which are available for the 2025-2026 academic year. The successful candidate(s) will be expected to teach the equivalent of 27 credits per academic year of classroom, simulation-based, lab, and/or administrative duties related to clinical instruction. Primary responsibilities include team teaching across the curriculum and supporting student instruction where needed. Other responsibilities include:

• prepare course materials;
• create, administer, and grade written and practical examinations;
• maintain a regular schedule of office hours for student advising, tutoring, and remediation;
• engage in program evaluation, student admissions, student evaluations, and curriculum development;
• contribute to activities related to program development, continuous quality improvement, and accreditation; and

• Applicant must be a Physician Assistant holding active NCCPA certification and eligible for state licensure in NJ or a Physician (DO or MD) with completion of medical residency.Preferred Qualifications:
