Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Production Control Specialist II to plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules and workflows to meet shipping dates. This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
Production Control Specialist II – Job Description
Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions; includes estimating. Analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources; prepares production reports.
