Responsibilities

• Lead 10+ personnel and allocate daily projects to meet deadlines.

• Prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects and timelines.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and identify discrepancies.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist/ Principal Supply Chain Logistics Specialist. This position is located in Ogden, Utah.

What You’ll Get To Do:

• Accountable for leading 10+ assigned employees and contingent workers, allocating daily projects, tasks, and workloads to ensure deadlines are met.
• In this role, you will provide technical, tactical, and execution support in various aspects of industry standard supply chain business process areas, primarily supply chain production and supply chain logistics, as well as supply chain business operations.
• Manage the shipping and receipt of goods, including opening packages, verifying quantities, and confirming accurate item delivery.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage concurrent projects and timelines.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage the cycle count process, performing cycle counts and resolving discrepancies, including inventory in the warehouse, as well as in work-in-progress (WIP) areas.
• Ability to work hours necessary to meet business objectives. This may include working overtime (40+ hours in a work week).
• Ability to operate a sit-down Forklift Ability to operate a Reach truck Ability to operate a cargo van or similar vehicle.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Basic Qualifications:

The role can be filled at Supply Chain Logistics Specialist(A2) or Principal Supply Chain Logistics Specialist(A3)

Supply Chain Logistics Specialist: 2 Years with Bachelors; 1 year with Masters or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree

Principal Supply Chain Logistics Specialist: 5 Years with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree

• Current ERP experience in Systems Applications Processes (SAP)
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Security Clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance Preferred
• Experience in operating a forklift and other types of material moving equipment
• Experience with classified program requirements
• Experience with using an MRP system for storing and issuing inventory
• Experience with inventory management
• Familiarity and experience with audits from Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Defense Contract Management Agency Safety (DCMAS), Defense Contract Management Agency Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)

Primary Level Salary Range: $59,600.00 - $89,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
