Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator 2 in Ogden, Utah. The role focuses on supporting multiple disciplines within the Supply Chain process, including goods movement, logistics, and manufacturing operations.

The position requires a high school diploma, 2 years in logistics/warehousing, and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance. You will handle materials, loading/unloading, and coordination with shop floor teams, with travel about 10%.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of logistics support/warehousing experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)
  • Must obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license
  • MS 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint proficiency
  • Willingness to travel at least 10%

Responsibilities

  • Support activities across multiple supply chain disciplines, including Manufacturing, Logistics, and Operations.
  • Provide technical, tactical, and execution support in goods movement, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.
  • Handle manual movement and handling of materials and loading/unloading operations.
  • Coordinate with Integration/Production Control and shop floor in warehouse environments.
  • Wrap and pack parts for on-site and off-site deliveries, and provide status updates in planning sessions.
  • Operate company vehicles for pick-up/delivery between sites as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical requirements.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator 2. This position is located in Ogden, Utah.

What You Will Get To Do:
  • Support and assist activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
  • Provide technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations.
  • These employees are primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.
  • Provides administrative, technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas, primarily Goods Movement, Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Operations Tracks and stages Raw Material and Parts for Manufacturing Processes.
  • Experience in SAP Goods Issue and Goods Receiving transactions.
  • Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
  • Loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
  • Works closely with the Integration/Production Control team and shop floor with experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Wraps and packs parts to send to on and offsite locations.
  • Provides status of material and/or parts during meetings or other required planning/status sessions.
  • Operate company-owned vehicles to execute pick-up and delivery of parts between Northrop Grumman sites/buildings, and offsite locations at times.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical requirements.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, warehousing and/or inventory control
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience using a forklift / reach lift / pallet jack

  • Warehousing Operations Experience supporting Manufacturing/Production in support of DOD contracts
  • Primary Level Salary Range: $40,700.00 - $67,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
