This career step requires limited level experience. It involves planning, designing, or analyzing network components, infrastructure, and architecture to support strategic technology goals, including both Wireline and Wireless components. Provides short- and long-term planning for access network technologies, including analysis, solution recommendations, and implementation strategies.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Recommends strategic network planning and network evolution policy decisions in support of corporate initiatives, customer demand, technology changes, economic, and service reliability criteria.
  • Evaluates network capacity/performance criteria and develops strategies to accommodate network growth and change.
  • Creates deliverables such as Plans of Record, Forecasts, Serving Plans, Use Permits, Cost Estimates, Handoffs, Workprints, Utility Agreements, etc.

Job Contribution:

Technical professional with limited experience. Has working knowledge of technical principles and learning AT&T technologies. Demonstrates basic knowledge of engineering, design tools, and databases. Capable of completing small to medium projects, seeking guidance from peers for complex issues.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, or Engineering preferred.

Experience:

Typically 1-2 years of experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.

Salary range for this role is $70,700 - $106,100 annually, depending on experience, location, and education.
