Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc. seeks a District Service Representative in Baltimore, MD. You will survey customer sites, identify growth opportunities, and manage stock areas while leveraging strong customer service skills to support field sales and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate with customers on vendor managed inventory, travel weekly, and work with a tight-knit team to serve both new and long-standing customers. On-site work is required with physical duties as described.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ proven customer service experience.
• Accurate data entry skills, math & mechanical aptitude, basic reading skills.
• Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal.
• Able to travel out of town on a weekly basis.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk and regularly lift 50 lbs. or more.
• This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and is expected to be performed on site.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. We are not able to offer sponsorship of work visas for this position.

As an Applied Field Service Representative, you will perform a variety of duties including surveying customer sites, identify potential growth opportunities, and maintaining stock areas. You'll join a tight-knit team serving loyal, brand new customers, and long-term customers. You will use your strong customer service skills when interacting with customers at the field sales level.
