Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier LLC in Spokane, WA is seeking an Inspection, Labeling & Packaging Specialist to ensure quality and compliance across visual inspection, labeling and packaging operations. You will lead qualification programs, train staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold GMP standards and product quality.

This on-site, full-time role offers a Monday-Thursday 4x10s shift, with starting wage $32.01–$43.30 per hour and day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 5 years of experience may substitute a degree.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Lead experience required.
• Visual inspection training required.
• Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, quality systems, investigations, CAPAs, and regulatory expectations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve inspection qualification programs, including creation, qualification, maintenance, and periodic review of inspection test sets.
• Serve as Training SME for visual inspection processes, defect classification, and inspector qualification requirements.
• Monitor qualification performance, investigate inspection-related issues, and support corrective actions and process improvements.
• Provide technical support and oversight for labeling and packaging operations, including troubleshooting, investigations, and process enhancements.
• Develop and maintain training materials, qualification protocols, and competency assessments for inspectors and technicians.
• Coordinate qualification and requalification activities and maintain training and qualification records.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and procedure revisions.
• Analyze operational and quality data, identify improvement opportunities, and participate in cross-functional projects to improve quality, compliance, and efficiency.

Job Description:

The Inspection, Labeling & Packaging Specialist serves as the subject matter expert for visual inspection, labeling and packaging operations. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with current procedures, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and training programs. The specialist provides technical leadership for inspection qualification programs, develops and manages inspection qualification test sets, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest standards of product quality and operational excellence.
