A leading healthcare services organization is seeking a Specialist for Medicare Member Engagement. This remote position focuses on improving member experiences by providing assistance with Medicare plans and addressing inquiries during the onboarding process. What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct direct outreach to new Medicare members to provide assistance with their MAPD, DSNP, and MMP plans
- Serve as a navigator for members during the onboarding process, addressing plan questions and anticipating potential issues
- Log all member contacts in a database for tracking and follow-up
- Participate in member engagement workgroups to address Medicare member needs
- Attend regular member benefits training to stay informed about the member advocate/engagement role
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, consumer advocacy, or healthcare systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external collaboration
- Basic understanding of managed healthcare systems and Medicare
- Experience conducting intake, interviews, or research on consumer or provider issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
- Experience with Medicare and Medicare managed plans such as MAPD, DSNP, and MMP
