Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with one year of related full-time experience.
• Experience in handling and supporting media equipment in an office/college environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical setup tasks.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and circulates instructional materials and equipment, maintaining patron records and arranging for inter-campus loans.
• Provides equipment set-ups including computers, multimedia, LCD panels, speakers, microphones, and projectors, ensuring correct operation.
• Assists faculty and students with the use of camcorders and other media equipment.
• Performs routine or preventive maintenance on media equipment and conducts inventory.
• Performs audio and video tape duplication, prepares media materials, and provides mounting and lamination services.
• Maintains central library for films, videotape, and digital media, including inspection and editing systems.
• Maintains appropriate files to support various functions and compiles statistics.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Regularly required to bend, stoop, and kneel to set up equipment, perform maintenance, and retrieve materials
• Regularly required to use manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools for equipment setup and maintenance
• Regularly required to use vision to inspect, edit, and maintain media materials and operate audiovisual equipment
• Occasionally required to climb ladders or use step stools to reach equipment or materials stored at various heights
