Mission:
  • Maintaining optimal stock levels to ensure timely availability of Raw Materials.
  • Keeping and managing the stock via MPC Tool.
  • Following the Baugruppes in order to obtain the new and the run out Raw Materials.
  • Participating in inventories (corrective action and urgent orders).
  • Act as internal and external contact person within his/her own area of expertise for defined topics; in this function cooperate in internal working groups.
  • Plan and conduct trainings on subject-specific topics cross-departmental both domestically and in other countries (e.g. system/logistics training courses, etc.).
  • Support in determining and optimizing internal standards and processes within his/her own area of expertise.
  • Observe/identify trends in his/her area of expertise in order to develop concepts; suggest recommendations for action.
  • Conduct external reconciliations (e.g. customer data reconciliation, emergency concepts, conversation with suppliers, etc.).
  • Manage projects/orders (e.g. series in existing structures, series relocation projects, etc.) and coordinate the project members (e.g. call meetings, take votes, etc.).
  • Coordinate several DSN systems cross-departmentally in coordination with internal logistics departments and involved units (e.g. Quality, Purchasing, etc.).
  • Implement DSN systems within his/her own area of expertise in plants worldwide.
  • Receive and coordinate change requests with the departments involved (e.g. IT, etc.).
  • Support several DSN systems within a department and act as contact person.
  • Receive and handle difficult inquiries/problems, including special cases (e.g. support on-site, etc.).
  • Analyze data stock and derive measures/suggestions for improvement.
  • Analyze weak areas across divisions; cooperate in developing suggestions for improvement.
  • Assure the creation and care of documentation for the supported systems.
  • Assure that ‘black-box’ tests are conducted for the supported DSN systems.
Requirements:
  • University degree, Master's degree or higher technician with 2-3 years of experience in logistic field (automotive industry).
  • Mastery of Computer skills.
  • Analytical skills, process-oriented mindset, self-initiative, and target orientation.
