Job description

We are on a mission to provide the world with simple, wholesome food and beverage items that fit today's lifestyle, offering an intimate - yet fast and consistent - experience to our customers.

We love and take pride in what we do, and we currently offer an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and ever-growing brand in this industry.

ROLE SUMMARY:

We aren’t just a food and beverage company—we are a lifestyle brand powered by a sophisticated digital backbone. We are seeking a high-energy, mobile IT Systems & Support Specialist to own the technology lifecycle across our physical retail footprint.

You are the "first responder" and the tactical expert for our store-level tech. From whiteboarding the network layout of a new location to troubleshooting a Toast terminal during a Friday night rush, you thrive on solving problems in real-time. This role is perfect for a hands‑on technician who loves the mix of high‑level project work and "get‑it‑done" support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Infrastructure Ownership: Maintain the health and uptime of all on-site IT systems, including networking (vLANs, Wi‑Fi), Point of Sale (POS), and security/surveillance hardware.
  • New Site Openings (NSO): Lead the physical tech setup for new store launches. This includes unboxing, mounting, and configuring Toast terminals, KDS screens, label printers, and networking gear.
  • High‑Stakes Support: Act as the Tier 2/3 technical expert for store managers, resolving critical hardware or connectivity issues—either remotely or via emergency on‑site visits.
  • Vendor Management: Work directly with ISPs and hardware vendors to ensure circuit installs and equipment replacements happen on schedule and within budget.
  • Standardization & Documentation: Author the "IT Playbook"—creating SOPs and training materials that empower store staff to handle basic troubleshooting (e.g., "The Printer Reset Guide").
  • Proactive Monitoring: Use network management tools to identify "weak links" in our infrastructure before they cause a service disruption.
  • Cross‑Functional Projects: Partner with the IT Project Manager to execute fleet‑wide upgrades, such as new payment terminal rollouts or security software deployments.
  • After‑Hours Readiness: Be available for critical "on‑call" support during high‑impact events, such as grand openings or system‑wide rollouts.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3+ years of hands‑on IT experience in a multi‑unit hospitality or retail environment.
  • Toast POS Mastery: Deep experience with Toast hardware (Flex, Go, KDS) and the specific quirks of restaurant hardware (impact vs. thermal printers).
  • Networking Fundamentals: Strong grasp of Meraki, Ubiquiti, or similar cloud‑managed networking stacks, including cabling standards and signal optimization.
  • Mobile & Validated: Must have a valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel to various locations as the primary on‑site technical resource.
  • Communication: Ability to explain a "DHCP conflict" to a Kitchen Manager in a way that makes sense and keeps the team calm.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Certifications: CompTIA Network+, A+, or vendor‑specific certifications (e.g., CCNA or Toast Certified).
  • Low‑Voltage Experience: Familiarity with rack management, cable termination, and basic AV setups.
  • Independence: A self‑starter who can manage their own ticketing queue and prioritize site visits based on business impact.
BENEFITS:
  • Health & Wellness – Medical, Dental & Vision
  • PTO
  • Discounted Meals
  • 401(k) Plan with Company Match
